Covenant

These covenants are incorporated into every deed received by a buyer of real estate in the Housing for Sustainable Neighborhoods Program.

The above named grantees, and grantees' successors in interest, by the acceptance of this deed hereby covenant and agree:

(a)       That the real property shall be used and occupied as a single-family residence.

(b)       That the real property shall be occupied and used as the primary residence of the then current titleholders; and the real property shall not be used and occupied as property for which rental income is to be received.

(c)       The aforesaid covenants shall operate as covenants running with the land for the benefit of any and all persons who may now or hereafter on any part of the real estate within ____________________ Addition to Ames, Iowa; and any of such persons shall have the right to enforce these covenants, conditions and restrictions through all available proceedings at law or in equity against the person or persons violating or threatening to violate same. The aforesaid covenants shall expire twenty (20) years after the date of execution of this warranty deed; unless otherwise extended as provided in Chapter 614 of the Code of Iowa.
