The mission of Ames Sustainable Neighborhoods is to promote, facilitate, and contribute to the stability of Ames' core neighborhoods. The primary method for achieving this mission is to bring people and resources together. We will work with the City of Ames, local housing organizations, local businesses, and other organizations to coordinate programs to facilitate the stability of Ames' core neighborhoods.

• If you are a potential home buyer, and are considering a home in a core neighborhood, please view our list of properties for sale. If you need assistance for home purchase and/or property rehabilitation, contact us.
• If you own a home in a core neighborhood, and want to sell your home, please consider posting the sale information on our web site. If you need assistance with property rehabilitation, and/or want to insure that your home remains owner-occupied, contact us.
• If you live in a core neighborhood, encourage your neighborhood organization to work with us to reach potential home buyers.
• If you are an employer, let us know of people who want to purchase homes in core neighborhoods.
